The Ministry of Youth and Sports discussed on Sunday with a technical team from the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) the preparatory arrangements for the rehabilitation and renovation of the May 22 International Stadium in Aden.
The meeting brought together Deputy Ministers of Youth and Sports Dr. Azzam Khalifa and Mohsen Ali Bibak with an SDRPY engineering team headed by Engineer Khaled Youssef. Discussions focused on mechanisms for preparing technical studies and developing the budget required for the stadium’s rehabilitation project, which will be supported by the Saudi program.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Ministry’s Technical Office, Dr. Hassan Abd-Rabbo. During the discussions, the deputy minister praised the significant role played by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen in implementing high-quality development projects in Aden and several liberated governorates, commending its continued support for youth and sports initiatives, reconstruction efforts, and the improvement of public services.
