Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Awsan Al-Aoud met Sunday with Zhao Cheng, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Yemen.
The two parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Al-Aoud praised the distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and China, China’s firm positions in support of the Yemeni government, and the developmental assistance provided by Beijing to Yemen. He affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to strengthen the partnership and further develop various areas of cooperation.
For his part, the Chargé d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China reiterated his country’s supportive stance toward the government, confirming China’s readiness to provide all forms of support and assistance and to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
