Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Lyon on Sunday in the twelfth round of the French Ligue 1, taking sole leadership of the league standings.

PSG opened the scoring with a 26th-minute strike from Warren Zaire, followed shortly by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's goal in the 33rd minute. Lyon responded with a goal from Afonso Moreira in the 30th minute and equalized early in the second half through Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the 50th minute. However, PSG clinched the win deep into stoppage time with a dramatic goal from João Neves in the 95th minute.

The victory lifts Paris Saint-Germain to 27 points, placing them alone at the top of the Ligue 1 table. Lyon, with 20 points, now sits in seventh place.
