His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met with Prime Minister Salim Bin Braik and Central Bank Governor Ahmed Ghaleb to assess implementation of economic reforms and enhance financial discipline.
The meeting focused on strengthening revenue collection, improving public expenditure, paying civil servant salaries, stabilizing the national currency, and controlling the foreign exchange market.
The PLC Chairman emphasized strict implementation of economic reforms and transparency in the financial sector to restore fiscal discipline and sovereignty.
The discussion also highlighted coordination between the Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, and local authorities to mobilize domestic and external resources and complete administrative reforms in the financial and banking sector.
