Yemen participates in Paris Peace Forum 2025

The Republic of Yemen participated Thursday in the Paris Peace Forum 2025, under the slogan (Reinventing Diplomacy in a Changing World), with a delegation headed by Yemen's Ambassador to France Dr. Riyadh Yaseen.

The forum, with broad participation from leaders of countries and governments, representatives of international organizations, civil society institutions and the public and private sectors, discusses common global issues and ways to enhance international cooperation to achieve peace and sustainable development.

Ambassador Yaseen confirmed in a statement to Saba, "Yemen's participation in this international forum comes as an affirmation of Yemen's keenness to contribute effectively to efforts aimed at consolidating the values of peace, supporting international dialogue, and building strategic partnerships to confront the common challenges witnessed by our country and the world in general".

He added, "The forum represents an important opportunity to exchange visions and ideas on ways to enhance multilateral diplomacy in light of the rapid international changes and to build new bridges of communication between countries and societies on the basis of cooperation and mutual respect".

During his participation in the forum, Ambassador Yaseen held a number of bilateral meetings with officials and diplomats participating in the forum, in addition to meetings with representatives of international organizations concerned with sustainable development, renewable energy, and international peace, to discuss areas of future cooperation and partnership.
