Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfik Al-Sharjabi, signed two agreements with Muslim Hands Organization to implement two crucial water projects in Marib and Abyan governorates.
The first project involves constructing a 2.7-kilometer internal water network in Al-Sahn area of Marib, along with installing a multi-stage vertical pump to supply water to Al-Jamea and Al-Qasr areas, benefiting around 16,000 displaced persons and host community members over ten months.
The second project focuses on rehabilitating Amrosh 2 well in Lawdar district of Abyan, operating it with solar power, connecting it to Amrosh 1 well via public electricity grid, and implementing a main water distribution network benefiting approximately 13,000 residents.
