The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the move by the Republic of India's embassy in the Republic of Yemen to establish a representative office in the temporary capital Aden, starting today, October 1, 2025.
The Ministry stated that the opening of the Indian office in Aden represents a positive step reflecting the depth of Yemeni-Indian relations and the keenness of both sides to enhance and develop them in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples in various political, economic, and cultural fields.
The Ministry pointed out that the opening of the representative office will contribute to providing facilities for Yemeni citizens, especially for patients wishing to travel to India for medical treatment, moreover following up on various consular and service aspects, which boosts the cooperation between the two countries and serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
