A national workshop has begun in Aden to review draft national action plans for managing and protecting sharks, turtles, birds, and marine mammals in Yemen.
The workshop, organized by the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA) in coordination with the General Authority for Environmental Protection, aims to equip participants with knowledge on preparing national action plans.
The four-day workshop brings together 36 participants from various government and non-government agencies to discuss key issues, including procedures under the national action plan for protecting marine mammals.
