The Chargé d'Affaires of the Yemeni Embassy in Riyadh, Dr. Saleh Al-Shaeri, met with the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Negotiations at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Owaisheq, to discuss the economic situation and humanitarian aid provided by the GCC to Yemen.
The meeting, attended by the Director of Yemen Affairs at the GCC Secretariat, Badr Al-Otaibi, also addressed issues related to Yemeni workers in GCC countries and ways to support and develop Yemeni agricultural and fish exports to GCC markets.
Al-Shaeri and Al-Owaisheq also reviewed preparations for the International Conference on Food Security in Yemen, scheduled to be held at the GCC Secretariat from October 27 to 28, 2025.
