Yemen's Prime Minister Salem bin Braik received a congratulatory message from his Japanese counterpart, Shigeru Ishiba, on the occasion of his appointment.
The message was delivered by Japanese Ambassador to Yemen, Yoichi Nakashima.
In the message, Ishiba reaffirmed Japan's commitment to supporting Yemen's peace and stability efforts. He also expressed his eagerness to work with bin Braik to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
During the meeting, bin Braik and Ambassador Nakashima discussed ongoing cooperation programs between Yemen and Japan, including humanitarian assistance, infrastructure development, and education.
Prime Minister bin Braik commended Japan's consistent support for Yemen's legitimate government and people, particularly in the current challenging circumstances.
