Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani met Monday with the U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Stephen Fagin.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the current developments in Yemen.
The minister praised the continuous U.S. support for the Yemeni government in various fields and emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination and joint cooperation between the two countries.
He stressed the significance of resuming developmental and humanitarian aid to help alleviate the suffering of citizens and strengthen the stability of national institutions.
The U.S. ambassador reiterated his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, confirming the United States' readiness to continue its support and commitment to strengthening cooperative relations in various areas.
