The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Aradah discussed today, Monday, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen Ambassador Shao Zheng bilateral relations between Yemen and China, and ways to further develop them to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
Al-Arada said that the PLC and the government are looking forward to further broaden the partnership with the People's Republic of China in different fields to server the mutual interests of the two countries.
Al-Arada highly praised the decisions of the Chinese government in support of Yemen in the commercial sector, mainly the decision to exempt Yemen's exports from customs duties and grant opportunities to participate in international exhibitions, which will contribute toward strengthening economic relations.
The Chinese Ambassador stated that the People's Republic of China is keenly seeking to advance the peace process, saying Beijing will continue to support the PLC and the government as well as to provide humanitarian assistance and economic support to Yemen.
