The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Buhaibeh, chaired a meeting of the Higher Coordination Committee for Multi-Sectoral Emergencies in Aden.

The meeting discussed the current epidemiological situation, including fevers and other diseases, and the role of relevant authorities in addressing these challenges.

The committee heard presentations from the Director General of the National Program for Malaria and Vector Disease Control and the Director of the Surveillance Department on the current situation and challenges. Dr. Buhaibeh stressed the need for joint cooperation and developing a comprehensive action plan to respond to health emergencies.

The Minister emphasized the importance of media and health education in raising awareness and promoting community partnership. He also highlighted the role of vaccinations in preventing diseases and urged media outlets to support the Ministry's efforts.

In a separate event, Dr. Buhaibeh stressed the importance of training medical personnel in emergency care to improve the quality of healthcare services. He praised a training course for trainers on emergency medical care, organized by the National Center for Emergency and
