Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh met with Country Director of Samaritan's Purse in Yemen Peter Kinuthia to discuss strengthening the country's health sector.

They reviewed the organization's recent interventions, including pediatric cardiac surgery projects and primary healthcare initiatives in Taiz Governorate.

Dr. Buhaybeh praised Samaritan's Purse for its effective surgical and therapeutic interventions, particularly in pediatric cardiac surgery. He emphasized the need to expand these projects, which would enhance service provision and reduce the financial burden of seeking treatment abroad.
