President al-Alimi leaves Aden for consultations over national, regional developments

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) left today, Tuesday, the temporary capital Aden to conduct consolations with key regional an international partners on the developments of the national situations, the means to mobilize the needed support to manage the economic and humanitarian challenges that have been exacerbated by the Houthis terrorist attacks on oil facilities and international maritime navigation.

An official source at the Republic Presidency Office said" The President's talks will concentrate on enhancing the united international position on the side of the Yemeni people, its official leadership and backing the government to handle the current challenges as a strategic partner of the international community at different levels".

The source noted that the presidential consultations will underline the required international efforts to alleviate the humanitarian suffering and back the aspirations of the Yemeni people for regaining the national state's institutions, security, stability and development.

The source underscored the important role of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as well as the regional and international partners in supporting the government's efforts to deliver on its obligations, first and foremost to pay the employees' salaries, secure basic commodities and services.

He emphasized the need for amplifying the support amid the persistence funding crisis due to the cessation of oil exports for the third consecutive year.
