The Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh convened today, Wednesday, a meeting of the High Committee for Health Emergencies in the temporary capital of Aden.
The meeting, which included the committee team at the Ministry of Health and experts from the World Health Organization and UNICEF, aimed to discuss the current epidemiological situation of Polio cases, the methods of transmission of polio viruses, the best way to confront the spread and realizing the highest immunization rate among the targeted children.
Dr. Buhaybeh stated that the Ministry and its partners are working to carry out a number of measures aimed at developing appropriate solutions to confront the challenges of the spread of epidemic diseases, including polio cases, which increase more in the areas
