United States: Current campaign against Houthis targets their military capabilities, not civilians
[25/03/2025 08:45]
WASHINGTON - SABA
The United States has reaffirmed its strong support for the Yemeni people in their aspirations for peace and prosperity.

The U.S. Embassy in Yemen clarified in a post on the platform X that the current campaign against the Houthis is aimed solely at targeting the Houthis and their military capabilities, not the civilians living under their oppressive rule.

The embassy congratulated Yemeni customs officials at the Sarfit border crossing in al-Mahra Governorate for successfully seizing 800 drone propellers intended for use by the Houthi terrorist organization.

This operation underscores the Yemeni government's commitment to combating smuggling and enhancing national and regional security, said the US embassy.
