Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, has directed the government to prepare for a national energy conference aimed at mobilizing international support and funding for the country's electricity sector strategy.
The conference, which will bring together government officials, private sector representatives, and international donors, seeks to find sustainable solutions to energy crisis, ensure the provision of services, and promote renewable energy alternatives.
During a Ramadan evening held in the interim capital, Aden, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of coordination and partnership with the national private sector to hold the conference.
He also highlighted the need to develop an integrated work program consistent with the state and government's directives to expand generation capacity and renewable energy.
