The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Council Member Tariq Saleh launches "Eid Clothing" Project

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tariq Saleh launched Thursday the "Eid Clothing" Project on the Western Coast, implemented by the Humanitarian Action Cell with support from the Emirates Red Crescent.

The project aims to provide Eid clothing for approximately 35,000 families from poor and displaced groups.

During the launch ceremony, Tariq Saleh announced his directive to the National Resistance to grant a bonus equivalent to half a monthly salary to the children of the martyrs of the "Guardians of the Republic" and the "Tihama Brigades," including the "Zaraneeq" Brigade and the 7th and 9th Giant Brigades.

The Council Member also issued instructions to the Humanitarian Action Cell during the event to distribute 25,000 food baskets to teachers in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeida, including both official workers and volunteers.
