ADEN-SABA
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SDRPY) has launched a project to enhance water security in Aden and Hadramaut Governorates using renewable energy. This initiative is part of the SDRPY's efforts to support the water sector in Yemen through 58 development projects and initiatives.
The project, implemented in collaboration with Silah Development Company, aims to improve water resource management, diversify water sources, and increase the efficiency of water distribution in urban and rural areas. By utilizing renewable energy, the project will contribute to the sustainability of water resources and reduce operating costs.
In Aden Governorate, the project will equip 10 wells in the Ahmed field with renewable energy, supplying and installing a solar power plant with a production capacity of 600 kilowatts.
