MOSCOW - SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Ahmed al-Wuhayshi met today with the Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Mikhail . Bogdanov.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them.

Al-Wuhayshi reviewed developments in the situation in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of designating the Houthi militias as a terror group, which has been a stumbling block to efforts to achieve peace and end the war. He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to take all necessary measures to compel the Houthi militia to accept a political solution.

Al-Wuhayshi stated that the Houthi militias do not believe in peace or dialogue because their ideology is based on sectarian incitement, which is completely inconsistent with the concept of the nation state and equal citizenship.
