The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani was in attendance.

Leadership Council's Member al-Zubaidi inspects works on solar energy project in Shabwa

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidarous al-Zubaidi paid today, Wednesday, an inspection visit to the site of the project of the solar energy station.

The visit aimed to inspect the work in progress on constructing the solar energy station (53MGW), it is established on a total area 600 square meters.

The project is funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), designed to boost the capacity of electricity generate in Shabwa governorate.

Maj. General al-Zubaidi highly appreciated the substantial developmental support provided by the UAE United Arab Emirates to Shabwa governorate and other Yemeni regions.

He said " We're grateful to the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan for their significant humanitarian and development to Shabwa governorate and government-held regions".
