Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Mustafa Noman, met with Simon Holima, Deputy Representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen, at the ministry's headquarters in the interim capital, Aden, to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the Yemeni government and the WFP.
The discussion focused on addressing the increasing humanitarian challenges in the country, which were among the results caused by the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia. Noman praised the efforts made by the WFP in providing its services to those in need.
Noman stressed the government's keenness to facilitate the WFP's tasks and ensure that aid reaches those entitled to it in all of Yemen. He also emphasized the importance of continuous coordination between government agencies and the WFP to ensure the effectiveness of relief operations and avoid any obstacles.
