Mazatlan tied with its guest Cruz Azul 1-1 in the match that brought them together in the eleventh round of the Mexican Football League.

Cruz Azul opened the scoring through its player Mateus Bogos in the 62nd minute, while Mazatlan's goal was scored by Nicolas Benedetti in the 86th minute from a penalty kick.

Mazatlan raised its score with this draw to 12 points in tenth place, and Cruz Azul raised its score to 18 points in fifth place.
