Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister, Mustafa Noman, convened a meeting with China's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Zhai Jun, on the margins of the Eighth Indian Ocean Conference in Muscat, Oman.
The talks focused on the evolving dynamics in the Yemeni and regional landscapes, as well as matters of mutual concern.
Noman expressed his appreciation for China's resolute support for the peace process in Yemen, acknowledging the significant humanitarian assistance provided by China to mitigate the ongoing crisis.
In response, the Chinese envoy reiterated his country's unwavering commitment to backing international endeavors aimed at achieving a political solution in Yemen, while reaffirming China's continued backing for the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and the Yemeni people.
