Al-Arada Highlights Yemen's Need For An Effective International Partnership To Manage Security, Economic Challenges
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada stressed that Yemen today needs a more effective international partnership to support state institutions and upgrade their capacities in order to manage security, economic and humanitarian challenges.

Shura Council Speaker receives Japanese Ambassador to Yemen

The Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher received today, Thursday, Japanese newly appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Yuichi Nakashima.

The Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.

Dr. Bin Dagher praised Japan's active role in contributing to the development and humanitarian actions in Yemen.
The conversations also touched on the situations in the wake of the Houthi militias' coup against the official government and the subsequent devastating consequences the Yemeni people have been experiencing in all walks of life.

The Shura Council Speaker detailed the Japanese Ambassador on the legitimate Yemeni government's efforts aimed to end the war, establish peace, blaming the Houthi militias for prolonging the conflict by blocking all regional and international efforts to make peace.
The Japanese Ambassador confirmed his country's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
He also stated that Japan will make further efforts to provide humanitarian aids to meet the Yemeni people's needs.
