Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Faraj al-Bahsani discussed the judicial situation with the Hadramaut Judges Committee on Monday, focusing on the main demands and rights of judges in the governorate and ways to improve their conditions.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to a number of rights and demands presented by the committee, represented by its chairman Judge Salem al-Hadar and committee members, who reviewed proposals and possible solutions to rectify the judicial situation in the governorate.
The chairman and members of the committee referred to the qualified judicial cadres in Hadramaut, highlighting the historical role of the governorate in the judicial and cultural aspects, noting that the district of Ghayl Bawzir hosted the first higher institute for judiciary in the country, reflecting Hadramaut's rich heritage in this field.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his pride and appreciation for the judges of Hadramaut, praising their good reputation and dedication in fulfilling their national duties, as well as their commitment to achieving justice and equality among community members.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of judges as a cornerstone in achieving social stability, noting that their efforts represent a safety valve amidst the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing.
Major General al-Bahsani expressed his readiness to raise the judges' demands and rights to the Presidential Leadership Council and work on discussing them with council members to find suitable solutions that contribute to addressing the challenges hindering the judicial work in the courts and prosecution offices in Hadramaut.
