His Excellency Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Donald Trump on the occasion of his swearing-in as President of the United States of America.
The Chairman of the PLC, on his behalf and the members of the Council, the Yemeni government and people, expressed his sincere congratulations to President Trump, wishing him all the best in his new presidential term and further progress and prosperity for the friendly American.
President al-Alimi reiterated his praise for the positions of President Trump during his previous term alongside Yemen and its people, its political leadership and its aspirations to restore the state institutions and to eliminate the coup of the Iranian regime-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
His Excellency expressed his confidence in a promising future for fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields.
The President also highly praised President Trump's speech, in which he affirmed the United States' strong and unwavering commitment to continue working with the international community to end wars, deter rogue groups and protect international peace and security.
