The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

The Tourist Promotion Board (TPB) held its periodical meeting today, Sunday, in the city of Hodaibo, Socotra Archipelagoes.
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani, the Chair of the TPB, led the discussions which covered a range of topics relating to the TPB's tasks, actions and plans.
The TPB held its meeting in Socotra island to demonstrate its keenness to improve tourism businesses in the archipelagoes which is one of the most tourist destination in the country.
"We intended to convene the meeting of the TPB in Socotra archipelagoes to highlight the TPB's future plans aiming to boost tourist businesses in the archipelagoes and promote its tourist attractions", said al-Eryani.
