Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi has praised the new financial support from the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the state budget and the Central Bank of Yemen.

The President expressed, on behalf of himself, his fellow council members, the government and the Yemeni people, profound gratitude and appreciation to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its leadership, government and people—for their continuous support for the national economy through a new deposit for the Central Bank of Yemen amounting to $300 million, along with an additional payment of $200 million from the generous grant for the general budget.

This will help address the budget deficit and fulfill obligations for salaries, wages and operational expenses of state institutions.

He also expressed his gratitude to the brotherly team handling the Yemeni file, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman and the Saudi development and humanitarian institutions that work diligently and sincerely to alleviate suffering, rebuild services and enhance food security for all Yemeni people.
