Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tariq Saleh has emphasized the importance of advancing the media front and unifying the national media address against the Iranian agenda more than ever in the current phase.
During his meeting Tuesday with Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammar al-Eryani, Saleh stressed the importance of integrating the media front with the Presidential Leadership Council and supporting the government's efforts to move forward with economic reforms, strengthen state institutions, local authorities and meet the needs of the people.
Tariq Saleh reiterated the Leadership Council's commitment to supporting and addressing the challenges and difficulties faced by the official media sector, contributing to the development of the capabilities of government media institutions to support the battle to restore the state and bury the myth of guardianship.
He also reviewed the conditions of government media institutions and discussed the challenges and difficulties they face in the current phase.
He exchanged ideas and proposals with Minister al-Eryani to enhance media and cultural institutions and to utilize digital media to reach the community and protect it from the misguided Houthi ideology that threatens the present and future of Yemen and its national identity.
For his part, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism reviewed the conditions of media institutions and their role in the battle for the homeland, appreciating the interest and follow-up of Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tariq Saleh, regarding the situation of media and journalists.
