Al-Ameri inaugurates several projects funded by European Union in Hadhramout

The Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for the districts of the Valley and Desert Amer al-Ameri inaugurated Monday several development projects in the districts of Sayoon and Tarim.

These projects were implemented by the Coalition for Humanitarian Relief as part of the Institutional and Economic Resilience Enhancement Project (SERI) funded by the United Nations Development Program.

The projects included the rehabilitation of the Public Works and Roads Office building in Sayoon, the supply and installation of solar energy systems for five girls' schools, and the rehabilitation and equipping of the Veterinary Center in Tarim.

Additionally, the Deputy Governor Amer al-Ameri, along with the Project Manager for Economic Institutional Resilience Enhancement in Yemen Martin Van Dril, reviewed the ongoing work and progress in the date and onion center projects in Tarim, as well as the central honey market in Qatn, which are being implemented under the United Nations Development Program as part of the Institutional and Economic Resilience Enhancement Project, funded by the European Union.

Al-Amari emphasized the importance of the role of local and international organizations in sustaining the development process across various districts by implementing projects that contribute to improving services in the city.

He expressed pride in the effective partnership with local and international organizations in executing developmental and improvement programs for essential services in different districts.
