Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaya Zindani held talks with the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani here today over means of developing the bilateral Italian-Yemeni ties and developments in Yemen and the region.
Zindani hailed the Italian support for the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to establish peace, restore state institutions, end the Houthi coup, and address the humanitarian suffering in Yemen.
He laid emphasis on the importance of expanding Italian-Yemeni cooperation in protecting antiquities and cultural heritage, given Italy's leading pioneering role in this field.
