The Croatian national team booked its place in the quarter-finals of the European Football Nations League, after tying with its guest, the Portuguese national team, 1-1 in the sixth and final round of the first group competitions.
The Croatian national team joined Portugal, the leader and qualifier from the previous round, with the Spanish national team, the title holder and European Cup champion, Germany, France, Italy and Denmark, while there remains one last card in the third group.
Denmark snatched the second qualifying card from Group 4 to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League, after a goalless draw with host Serbia, joining defending champions Spain, who achieved their fifth consecutive victory against their guest Switzerland (3-2) in the sixth and final round of the first level.
