The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed on Wednesday with the non-resident Canadian Ambassador to Yemen Jean-Philippe Linto means to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two parties reviewed the developments in Yemen and the region, as well as the efforts being made to reduce escalation and achieve peace in Yemen.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the appointment of Philippe as the non-resident ambassador to Yemen, expressing his confidence that this will help develop bilateral relations and open new avenues for cooperation, while praising Canada's ongoing support for the country, particularly in the field of humanitarian and relief assistance.
