The Argentine national team is looking forward to strengthening its lead in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in America, Mexico and Canada, when it visits its Venezuelan counterpart, on Friday, in the ninth round of the qualifiers.

The Argentine national team tops the qualifiers with 18 points, two points ahead of the Colombian national team, which is in second place, while the Venezuelan national team is in sixth place with ten points.
