Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb held talks here today with the Deputy Director of OCHA in Yemen on the upcoming humanitarian response plan.
Talks covered the joint coordination efforts to address the humanitarian situation in Al-Musaymir district in Lahj Governorate, the emergency response and urgent multi-purpose support (shelter materials and food packs) for displaced families and the host community in the district.
Basuhaby stressed the need to alleviate the suffering in Al-Musaymir district and the means to supply the beneficiaries there with urgent humanitarian provisions and expedite the provision of aid in cooperation with stakeholders.
