Yemeni Embassy Briefs Sudanese Media on Developments and Houthi Threats to Shipping
The Yemeni Embassy in Sudan held a media briefing in Port Sudan on Wednesday for a number of Sudanese journalists, media professionals, and directors of television channels, radio stations and news websites on developments in Yemen and the escalation and violations committed by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada emphasized that transparency and accountability should be established in all businesses of the oil and gas institutions and companies.

He said " It is very important boost productivity, upgrade efficiency of the of the corporations which operate in oil and gas sector, transparency and accountability should be at the highest level to improve the performance of oil and gas sector".

He made his statement as he co-chaired a meeting today, Saturday, along with the Prime Minister intended to discuss the ongoing businesses of the oil and gas institutions and companies in the governorate of Marib.

For his part, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of implementing transparency, governance and accountability in all businesses and activities of oil and gas corporations and institutions. " Wrongdoings and irregularities need to be corrected, transparency and accountability have become imperative within the government's reforms program", said bin Mubarak.
