Deputy governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah held talks with a visiting mission from the French Relief Organization (FIS) headed by Abdullah Bawa over the humanitarian situation in Marib, and the widening gap between escalating humanitarian needs and the diminishing role of humanitarian stakeholders due to funding shortfall.
Miftah welcomed FIS's decision to open an office in the governorate to supervise the implementation of its projects and review the humanitarian needs of the IDPs and their host communities.
