The Yemeni government has reiterated its call to the international community and the Security Council to provide assistance in finding possible ways to resume oil and gas exports as a crucial step towards achieving stability and economic recovery.

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohammed al-Zaouri and the Secretary-General of the Local Council of Aden Governorate Badr Muawen laid today a foundation stone for a renewable energy-powered project to enhance water security in Aden.
An artesian well will be drilled by Ali Abu Bakr Al-Sulaimani Corporation with contributions from SPDRY and Silah Foundation for Development.
The project includes drilling and rehabilitating 10 wells in Beer Ahmed field to be powered by renewable energy; supplying and installing 10 pumps, in addition to installing a 600-KW solar power station, AND setting up control rooms and a special building for administration of the project.
