His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alim, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Wednesday, Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun.
Yemeni-French bilateral relations was key focus of the conversations.
The discussions also touched upon the latest developments in the national arena and the regional arenas, the repercussions of the attacks of Iran-allied terrorist Houthi militias on the oil facilities and international shipping lanes.
President al-Alimi praised the Yemeni-French distinguished relationships, highly appreciating the supportive stance of the Republic of France in support of the Yemeni people and its internationally recognized government.
The Chairman of the PLC confirmed the commitment of the PLC and the government to the approach of the fair and comprehensive peace that is based on the terms for peace which are endorsed nationally, regionally and internationally , namely the UNSC 2216 that ensures restoring the state's institutions and putting an end of the humanitarian suffering created by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias.
