MASAM removes 766 Houthis -laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, well-known as "MASAM" managed to remove 766 of landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and explosives devices in the first week of September 2024, all left and planted by Iran-allied terrorist Houthi militias in different Yemeni regions.

The Center reported that MASAM's deminers extracted 12 anti-personnel and 41 anti-tanks landmines, 702 UXO and 11 explosives devices.

This brings total number removed by MASAM up to 458 thousand and 477 since it has commenced its demining mission in 2018.
