Human rights groups call for releasing 136 forcefully disappeared people by Houthi militias

National human rights organizations called on the international community to help releasing 136 abductees and enforced disappearances held in the jails of Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Among these unfortunate abductees 51 of the UN's agencies staff and the American embassy in Yemen.

The human rights groups organized a function today, Saturday, in the city of Marib to demonstrate solidarity with abductees and the forcefully disappeared people on the International Day for the victims of the enforced disappearance which is corresponding August 30.

The organizations reported that they documented 1585 incidents of enforced disappearances over the previous years in the Houthi militia-controlled regions out of them 136 are still abductees and enforced disappeared.
