Buhaybeh, US Ambassador discuss support for health sector

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh discussed with US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin discussed here today supporting the health sector in the country.
Buhaybeh highlighted the importance of the continuity of the US Agency for International Development's provision of support for maternal and child health and nutrition programs, and the importance of this in developing and improving maternal and child health programs, and bettering the access of 5.7 million people to health care.
The US Ambassador mentioned the notable development in providing health care and the ongoing cooperation between Yemen and the United States through USAID which aids in developing the health sector.
