Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi along with two of his deputies Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Mujalli visited the 35th Armored Brigade Command in Taiz city today.

They were received by the leadership of the brigade who acquainted them with the level of implementation of the approved tasks at the combat, rehabilitation, and moral raising levels.

Al-Alimi and his companions spoke highly of the 35th Armored Brigade's role in deterring the Houthi terror threats and imposing the state's prestige in the theater of its operations, expressing special pride in the heroic acts of the brigade's late leader Adnan Al-Hammadi in the battle to restore state institutions and defend the republican system, as he fired the first shot in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia and was a first founder of the national army.

President al-Alimi praised the rich record of struggle of Brig. Gen. Adnan Al-Hammadi in serving the nation as one of its most prominent heroes and symbols in the military who led the Yemeni people's battle to confront the putschist Iran-backed militia of Houthis.
