His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) conducted a phone call today, Friday, with the Governor of Abyan governorate, Major General Abu Salem, Commander of the Abyan Axis, to get familiar with the situation in the governorate and the details of the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a military site of the Third Support and Sustaining Brigade in Mudiyah District, resulted in killing g a number of soldiers and several more.

The governor reported to the President about the terrorist attack which were carried out by the terrorism operatives.
The President ordered providing the martyrs' families with necessary support and the injured servicemen with medical treatment.

His Excellency the President highly praised the heroic epics and the great sacrifices by the heroes of the armed forces in confronting terrorist organizations, including the Houthi militias working with them and confronting their desperate attempts to destabilize security and stabilit, and exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe in the country.

The Chairman of the PLC stressed that such terrorist operations will not affect the determination and determination of the Presidential Command Council, the government, the armed and security forces, and all military formations, to defeat criminal organizations, especially al-Qaeda and ISIS, which are affiliated with the Houthi terrorist militia supported by the Iranian regime.

His Excellency the President stressed the importance of the role of the security and intelligence services in tracking the elements of terrorist organizations, and drying up their sources and sources of funding in coordination with all regional and international partners, considering terrorism a global phenomenon that requires concerted efforts to eradicate and eliminate it.
