Deputy governor of Marib Dr. Abd Rabbuh Miftah launched the distribution of urgent emergency shelter and food assistance provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to those affected by torrential rains and storms that hit the governorate.
The deputy governor was briefed by King Salman center's emergency relief coordinator in Marib Dr. Lutf Al-Ghabbari and the director of the implementing national partner, Al-Khair Coalition for Relief office in the governorate, Mohsen Al-Hadhrami on the contents of the assistance shipment: 400 tents and 430 shelter bags, and food aid for 1,842 affected families, in addition to the last batch of periodic food aid to 6,207 beneficiary families within the life-saving food aid project. Miftah appreciated the great support by the King Salman center to provide relief to families affected by rain and floods, noting that this emergency aid will contribute to alleviating the suffering of many affected families.
