Leadership Council chairman receives Chinese Chargé d'Affairs to Yemen

RIYADH - SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, received on Monday the Chargé d'Affairs of China to Yemen Shao Zheng.

Talks went over the strong bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and the promising prospects for expanding them and pushing them to broader horizons in various fields.

The Chairman of the Leadership Council was briefed by the Chinese Chargé d'Affairs on his country's humanitarian and development interventions during the recent period, as well as Beijing's laudable efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the Republic of Yemen and the People's Republic of China, and the firm Chinese position alongside the Yemeni people and Yemeni political leadership and the Yemeni aspirations to restore state institutions and end the coup of the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
