Yemen's national air carrier signed an agreement with Airbus, in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, to purchase 8 new Airbus aircraft as one batch, including four AB320 NEO aircraft and four AB321 NEO aircraft.
The agreement, signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways captain Nasser Mahmoud Muhammad and Airbus representatives stipulated that Yemen Airways begin making financial payments starting in the year 2028 AD, and scheduling the receipt of the 8 aircraft starting from the year 2031 AD until the year 2034 AD, with two aircraft to be delivered every year.
