Yemen has condemned the assassination attempt against former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The county's foreign ministry expressed, in a statement, solidarity with the United States, the former president and his family against all forms of violence, wishing him a speedy recovery.

The statement also expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the American government, people, and the victim’s family, wishing those injured in the criminal incident a speedy recovery.
